The Project Nightlight fashion programs are getting all sorts of attention!!!
Hot Tee's
It all started with giving away cool tshirts (donated by various designers) with the hotline stamped on the inside. This way the teen who owned the shirt knew where to find the hotline if they needed it, but didn't have to be embarressed by wearing a phone number across their back.
Project Role Model
From this program, we developed Project Role Model were we match foster children with a mentor and then treat them to a day of being doted on, complete with a $300 shopping spree with their new pal. Of course it doesn't stop once the beauty treatments are over, mentors are encouraged to maintain longterm relationships with each child.

Project Nightlight will also take our makeover crew out on location to visit children who are confined to hospital settings, such as in the photo to the left. This particular child was confined to a wheelchair because of her cerebal palsy, but her wish was to have fancy nails, so we brought a manicure team out to her.
To become a Project Role Model mentor or to sponsor a child, please contact Aisha at aisha@projectnightlight.org. |
Fashion Boutique for Foster Children
Project Nightlight hosts a holiday fashion boutique for foster children. About 100 kids attend the event and get to select from an awesome selection of brand new hip clothing. The selection included everything from new tshirts and shorts to dresses and swim suits. An extra special thanks goes out to DCVR for donating extra shirts at the last minute.
Denim Therapy Fundraiser with 944 Magazine and Underground Denim
Last year Project Nightlight partnered with 944 Magazine and Underground Denim for a blowout denim sale, with proceeds going to Project Nightlight. Everyone who's anyone in high end denim was there, including our favorites Hudson and True Religion. Ryan Seacrest even gave a shout out to Project Nightlight announced the event on KIIS-FM. Thanks Ryan! We also gave out free Project Nightlight tee's to kids who attended the event. |

eXtreme Giving Fashion Show
We also get adults in the community involved in our fashion excitement with our annual fundraiser/fashion show. Last years sponsors included Loomstate, DCVR, Milk, 2BFree and many others and took place at Bergamot Station. Melody Vere headed up the makeup team, Frank.Studio took care of hair and Holly Jagen lead the models.
