HOW DO I REPORT ABUSE?
Help is Available!!! There are people in Los Angeles that you don't even know that care about YOU! People that want to help YOU! If you are being abused, tell someone…tell your teacher, your guidance counselor, your doctor. Or, if you aren't comfortable talking to someone that you know, call one of the help lines below. The calls are free and anonymous.

If you aren't ready to report abuse but you want to talk about your feelings and what is happening to you or if you have questions about abuse call the ChildHelp hotline.
- California Youth Crisis Hotline :: 1-800-843-5200
This is the State of California's only 24/7 crisis counseling and support program that is available all the time, from anywhere in the state, for young people to talk about the pain, difficulties, anger, hurt and other challenges of life.
- National Runaway Switchboard :: 1-800-621-4000
The National Runaway Switchboard will discuss informal and formal options and give appropriate referrals. They have a huge database of agencies and services that can be of assistance. They will help you to develop a detailed plan of action.

Casa Youth Shelter's mission is to provide temporary shelter and counseling services to runaways and youth in crisis, enabling them to come through the crisis with increased personal strength and a sense of renewal while in a supportive environment, with family reunification as the primary goal.
